Call for Papers
Software Engineering Research and Practices (SERP'05)
Special Track on Software Architecture
June 27-230
Monte Carlo Resort,
Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
http://www.cs.und.edu/~reza/SERP05/

High quality software is not an accident; it is constructed via a systematic plan that demands familiarity with analytical techniques, architectural design methodologies, implementation polices, and testing techniques. Software architecture plays an important role in the development of today’s complex software systems. Furthermore, our ability to model and reason about the architectural properties of a system built from existing components is of great concern to modern system developers. You are invited to submit a paper of approximately 7 pages. Papers will be evaluated for originality, significance, clarity, and soundness. Researchers in the topical area will referee each paper. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings.

SCOPE :

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:

Architectural styles, frameworks, and designs

Domain specific software architecture (DSSA)

Software architecture analysis

Secure software architecture

Architectural description languages (ADLs)

Self-repairing software architecture

Component based software architecture

Adoptive software architecture

Dynamic software architecture

Distributed software architecture

Aspect oriented software architecture

Quality oriented Software architecture

Tools/Environments for software architects

Industrial case studies and reports
