The 2007 International Conference on Software Engineering Research and Practice (SERP'07) will be held in
Las Vegas, Nevada, June 25-28, 2007. The SERP'07 Conference will be held simultaneously (i.e., same location and dates) with a number of other international Conferences and workshops (PDPTA'07, CISST'07, IC-AI'07, IC'07, METMBS'07, CIC'07, ...).
The goal of
SERP'07  is to bring together researchers and practitioners from both academia and industry. Software engineering methods play an important role in the development of today's complex software systems. Furthermore, our ability to model and reason about the system properties built from existing components is of great concern to modern system developers.
You are invited to submit a paper of approximately 7 pages. Papers will be evaluated for originality, significance, clarity, and soundness. Researchers in the topical area will referee each paper. Some seleced  papers will also be published in Journal. All accepted papers will be published by CSREA Press (ISBN) in hard copy.

Topics covering industrial and academic research are invited. Including, but not limited to:

  • Formal methods in software engineering
  • End User software engineering
  • Value-based Software engineering
  • Aspect oriented Software engineering
  • Service oriented Software engineering
  • Agent oriented Software engineering
  • Component based software engineering
  • Model oriented software engineering
  • Object oriented software engineering
  • Quality oriented software engineering
  • Software engineering and high assurance systems
  • Software architecture and architectural patterns
  • Software design and design patterns
  • Software process
  • Human Computer Interaction and usability Engineering
  • Pervasive software engineering
  • Requirement engineering and processes
  • Real-time software engineering
  • Automated software design
  • Critical and embedded software design
  •  Software Verification & validation
  • Software testing, debugging, and maintenance
  • Software cost estimation techniques
  • Configuration management
  • Quality management
  • UML/MDA
  • Social implications of computing
  • Service Oriented Software Architecture
  • Software Architecture and  Usability Engineering
  • Case studies

Accepted Papers

The Accepted Paper Categories are:

          1.  (RRP)  Regular Research Papers
Authors of RRP papers can request their papers
to be moved to any one of the categories
below (i.e., to RRR, SRP, or PST).  Those authors
who feel that they have language difficulties,
might consider requesting their papers be moved
to any one of the categories below (such requests
                     should be sent to: reza@cs.und.edu).

          2.  (RRR)  Regular Research Reports
Authors of RRR papers can request their papers
to be moved to any one of the categories
below (i.e., to SRP or PST).

          3.  (SRP)  Short Research Papers
Authors of SRP papers can request their papers
to be moved to PST category.

          4.  (PST)  Posters

RRP papers will be a maximum of 7 IEEE style pages in Camera Ready
form (will be published in the proceedings).  RRP papers
will be presented in FORMAL Sessions.  The Camera Ready papers
must be received by April 20, 2007.
Each presentation will be 20 minutes long.  The information about
the time and the date of your presentation will be Email
to you as soon as it becomes available (late May or early June).
Each paper/presentation will be included in a relevant technical
session - authors who will be presenting papers are expected
to introduce themselves to the chair of the session about
5 minutes before the session starts (names of session chairs
and conference room numbers will be emailed to you in late May or
      early June.)

RRR papers will be a maximum of 7 IEEE style pages in Camera Ready
