Today's
software products and
their underpinning process models are becoming
more complex and costly, making the
realization of these
products an increasingly difficult
task. The OMG’s Unified Modeling
Language (UML) and, more recently
Model Driven Architecture (MDA), play
important roles in the development and implementation of heterogeneous
software
systems. Furthermore, the ability to
reason about the properties of a system built through an integrated
system
life-cycle is of great concern to modern developers. The main goal of
this Workshop
is to bring together researchers and practitioners from both academia
and
industry.
You
are invited to submit a
paper that documents experience in research and use of the UML and MDA
in
either industrial or academic work. Papers
will be evaluated for originality,
significance, clarity, and
soundness. The Workshop will be held in conjunction with 2007
International
Multiconferece in Computer Science and Computer Engineering (IMCSE
‘07). All
accepted papers will be published in the Workshop proceedings. Selected
papers will be invited for journal publications.
SCOPE
Topics
of interest include,
but are not limited to, the following:
- UML semantics and Modeling
- MDA tool support
- Formal Specifications of UML models
- Formal Verifications of UML models
- UML and domain specific modeling languages
- UML/MDA in Modeling and analyzing
of aerospace software systems
- UML/MDA in Modeling and analyzing
Database systems
- MDA and Integrated Tool
Environment
